Purpose of the Applicant System

The applicant system is the manually reviewed entry point for new and returning EFVD drivers. Application approval is separate from event registration.

Apply

Submit accurate information

Provide clear identity, setup, experience and availability details.

Review

Approval is not automatic

Staff reviews every application and decides its outcome.

Continue

Registration remains separate

Approved drivers complete My EFVD and register for each event separately.

Who Can Apply

New and returning drivers may apply to EFVD. Applying does not grant approval. Approval only makes a driver eligible to complete a permanent profile and later register for events.

Open entry

Drivers can apply

Drivers who want organized competition and can follow event procedures may apply.

Minors

Consent may be requested

Underage drivers may apply, but EFVD may request parent or guardian consent before participation.

Standards

Manual review applies

Staff reviews preparation, experience, availability, conduct and overall EFVD fit.

Accuracy

Be truthful

False, incomplete or misleading application information can affect eligibility.

Before You Apply

The EFVD Application is the first step into EFVD. It is not an event registration.

Guides

Know the process

Read the New Driver Guide for an overview, then use this page for application requirements.

Setup

Test access

Confirm that Assetto Corsa, Content Manager, Discord, and your wheel and pedals are ready. Staff may request setup proof at any time.

Decision

Expect staff review

Staff manually reviews every application. Submission is not approval, and approval does not guarantee a place in any event.

Application Flow

An approved application establishes EFVD eligibility and a permanent driver identity. Individual event entry happens later through a separate registration.

  1. 01

    Apply

Submit your identity, setup, experience, availability and optional socials.

  2. 02

    Staff review

Event Ops manually approves, holds for further review or rejects the application.

  3. 03

    Permanent profile

Approved drivers open My EFVD and complete the permanent profile used for future events.

  4. 04

    Event registration

Submit a separate registration when a round opens. Staff reviews that request, and a place is not guaranteed.

Required Application Information

The initial application gives staff enough information to review the driver. Car selection, inspection, payment and event-specific details are handled later through My EFVD.

InformationWhy it matters
Driver identityUsed for Discord contact and the permanent driver profile.
Driving setupConfirms the driver has a wheel and pedal setup for competition.
AvailabilityConfirms you can attend required event sessions.
ExperienceHelps staff understand readiness for the event format.
Optional socialsSupports approved driver identity, media and broadcast presentation.

Application Review Criteria

Staff manually decides whether an applicant should enter the EFVD driver pathway. Event entry requires a separate decision for each round.

Application factorWhat staff checks
PreparationThe driver understands the rules and describes a usable competition setup.
ExperienceEnough detail for staff to assess current competition readiness.
ConductRespectful communication and no avoidable drama.
AvailabilityThe driver can reasonably participate in EFVD events.
AccuracyApplication information is truthful, current and complete.

Application Outcomes

Application outcomes determine EFVD driver eligibility. They do not decide event registration.

OutcomeWhat it means
ApprovedComplete the permanent My EFVD profile; you may then register for events as a Wild Card.
Under reviewStaff needs more time or clarification before deciding.
RejectedEFVD driver eligibility was not approved at this time.
Reapplication allowedStaff has allowed an updated application; approval still requires another manual decision.

After Application Approval

Application approval lets a driver complete a permanent EFVD profile. It does not enter the driver into an event.

Profile

Complete My EFVD

Complete the identity and Steam information used for future events.

Registration

Request each event separately

Submit a round registration when eligible. Event Ops manually reviews it and may confirm, waitlist, hold or deny it.

Garage

Wait for event instructions

Choose or submit a car only when instructed for that event.

Launcher

Check event readiness

Use the launcher to check files, Steam, wheel readiness and whether you may join the server.

Event Waitlist and Replacement Policy

A waitlist applies to a specific event registration, not the initial EFVD application. A waitlisted registration does not guarantee a competition place.

Monitor

Check My EFVD

Your event-registration status and next action appear in the current round.

Prepare

Complete only available steps

Do not assume you may pay, submit files or join until My EFVD confirms each step.

Respond

Act quickly

If Event Ops offers a place, promptly complete the requested action for that event.

Communication Standards

Use the announced EFVD channels. Keep applicant communication accurate, respectful and concise.
