Registration Options
A championship has three events. All prices and cash prizes are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Eligibility and Payment
EFVD offers limited Licensed Driver positions after reviewing performance, conduct, preparation and event fit. The driver reviews the offer, accepts the three-event commitment and pays $40 CAD to confirm the License and place. A License cannot be bought without an EFVD offer. Declining keeps Wild Card eligibility.
Wild Cards pay after selection and acceptance of their initial car submission. Both groups compete in the same event under the same technical and judging standards.
Registration pays for participation and event preparation. It does not guarantee qualification, bracket participation, championship status, a specific result or agreement with competition decisions.

Withdrawals and Refunds
The $40 CAD License pass and $15 CAD Wild Card registration are fully refundable until the event cars and track are released together (Round 1 for the License pass). After that you can still withdraw in My EFVD without a refund; it frees your place for another driver and is not treated as a no-show. No-shows are not refundable, and missing one event does not create a partial License pass refund.
If EFVD cancels or reschedules an event, affected drivers can choose a transfer or a proportional refund for that event. See the Refund & Withdrawal Guide for requests, conduct removals and tech fees.

What Fees Support
EFVD entry fees are reinvested into operating the competition, including staff, prizes, server infrastructure, competition tools, track development and other operating costs. The current structure is designed to help cover these costs as participation grows. Allocation may vary by event or championship.

Car Inspection
One free official car inspection is included per event for both Licensed Drivers and Wild Cards, including each event covered by a License pass. Both use the same correction and resubmission-fee process if the car does not pass. An automated scan provides preventive checks; an inspector makes the approval decision. A scan pass does not approve a car for competition.
A paid tech resubmission costs $5 CAD. The inspector can waive the fee before payment. Once paid, it is non-refundable by default, including before inspection work starts; exceptions require Event Ops approval. Follow the request in My EFVD before paying. Prizes and Payouts
Licensed Drivers and Wild Cards can win event podium prizes. Only Licensed Drivers earn championship points and championship prizes.

Cash prizes are paid in CAD through PayPal only. Confirmed sponsor additions or event-specific terms are announced separately.
Prize payment requirements
A PayPal email is optional during application and profile setup. Winners must provide a PayPal email linked to an account that can receive CAD within 14 calendar days after the event finishes. Missing this deadline or providing no eligible account forfeits the prize. No alternate payout method is available.
EFVD confirms the receiving details with the winner, then issues payment within 14 calendar days of that confirmation. Later PayPal processing, holds or reviews are outside this period and do not alone forfeit the prize.
EFVD sends the advertised amount in CAD. Recipient-side fees, currency conversion, withdrawal charges and taxes are the winner's responsibility. Published competition rules and event-specific eligibility terms still apply.
