Registration Refunds
Applying to EFVD and declining a License offer cost nothing. An offer becomes a three-event commitment only when you accept it; paying $40 CAD confirms the License. If you accept but do not pay by the deadline, EFVD may release the position. You can still request Wild Card events. With no payment, there is no registration charge to refund.
The refund deadline is the combined release of the event cars and track (Round 1 for a License pass). Voluntary withdrawals at or after release are not refundable, whether or not you downloaded the files. The exact date and time are shown before you pay, and the saved terms for your payment determine your refund eligibility.

One official car inspection per event is included in registration. EFVD does not deduct that inspection or payment-processing costs from an eligible full registration refund. A voluntary License pass withdrawal covers all three events; missing only one event does not create a partial refund. EFVD changes to an event are handled separately below.

Event Changes and Tech Fees
If EFVD changes an event
If EFVD cancels or reschedules your event, you can choose the announced transfer option or a refund for the affected event. If you choose a refund on a Licensed Driver pass, only that event's proportional share is refunded; your other covered events remain in place. We confirm the exact amount and affected entry privately. This is not a general right to transfer an entry to another driver.
If your car needs another inspection
Your first official car inspection is included. If an inspector requires a corrected submission, the separate $5 CAD resubmission fee may apply or be waived before payment. Paying this fee does not approve the car. A paid tech fee is non-refundable by default, even if inspection work has not started; withdrawing a paid resubmission normally returns $0 CAD.
If a technical decision means you cannot compete, follow the inspector's instructions and contact staff privately about your paid entry. Technical removals and exceptional tech-fee refunds need individual review; neither creates an automatic registration refund.

Requests and Deadlines
The refund deadline is the combined release of the event cars and track (Round 1 for a License pass). At or after release, voluntary withdrawals are not refundable, whether or not you downloaded the files. Each championship or event shows its exact withdrawal deadline, date, time and timezone before checkout. For a My EFVD request, the saved time it is received—not when staff replies—determines whether it meets the deadline. Later event-schedule edits do not replace the withdrawal terms you accepted when paying.

Request withdrawal
Open My EFVD and choose the withdrawal option for your paid entry or License pass. If it is unavailable, use Contact Staff privately in Discord before the deadline so staff can review your timing.

Review the exact outcome
Staff reviews your saved terms and shows which event or pass is affected and the proposed refund, including $0 CAD when none is due. A request alone does not withdraw your entry or issue money.

Agree and confirm
You agree to the exact outcome before staff confirms the withdrawal. A confirmed withdrawal ends the affected entry or pass coverage; it is separate from receiving a refund.

Track the refund
Check My EFVD for review and payment status. Any eligible refund goes to the original payment method after processing; the payment provider controls when it appears.
Even when no refund is due, tell staff promptly if you cannot attend so the roster or bracket can be adjusted. For a technical removal, payment problem or unusual circumstance, use Contact Staff in Discord. Do not start another checkout to resolve an existing payment or refund question.
