Driver Pathway
EFVD reviews drivers before granting Licensed Driver status. The pathway begins with applying, competing when selected and consistently meeting event standards. Licensed Driver status may affect priority registration, reserved-number access, split eligibility and broadcast identity.

Licensed Driver status identifies drivers who consistently meet EFVD competition, preparation, reliability and conduct standards.

License Eligibility
Eligibility depends on repeated event readiness, not one highlight, result or application. EFVD reviews whether a driver can meet the standard across several areas.

Promotion Process
Staff reviews a driver for promotion after the driver has shown enough evidence across EFVD activity. The review considers event history, preparation, driving quality, technical compliance and conduct.

Number Reservation Policy
Driver numbers support clear broadcasts and driver identification. Number use still depends on EFVD rules and availability. Licensed Drivers may have priority when numbers are assigned or reserved.

A preferred number may not be available if already assigned or reserved.
Numbers must be visible
Car liveries should make driver identification clear in streams, replays and screenshots.
Numbers can change
EFVD may adjust number use for event organization or future season structure.

Activity and Inactive Status
Licensed Drivers are expected to stay connected to EFVD activity so staff can assess their current readiness and keep their status active.

Probation and Removal
Licensed Driver status can be limited, reviewed or removed when a driver no longer meets EFVD standards. The table shows how conduct, activity, technical or procedure issues may affect that status. See the Code of Conduct for conduct standards and disciplinary procedures.

License Agreement Text
Holding an EFVD License means accepting EFVD competition standards every time you enter an event. Licensed Driver status does not override event rules, technical rules or staff direction.
Follow current guides
Licensed Drivers must still follow competition, technical and conduct rules.
Stay current
Drivers are responsible for reading event-specific updates on Discord.
Status is conditional
EFVD may review Licensed Driver status based on activity, conduct or event requirements.

Policy Changes
Last updated: August 11, 2026. This guide remains effective until EFVD changes it; it does not expire at the end of a season. Staff announce material rule changes through the official EFVD Discord.
